Catching Up

So I've been meaning to post some pics from last weekend. I'm finally getting to it. This past weekend was pretty exciting in an exhausting way. Big things happened! Kevin & Justin drove to Oklahoma to move Dustin & Tricia's stuff back to Texas!!! Finally! They officially live here now - yay!
Then, as if they weren't exhausted enough they came over after dropping off their stuff at storage and picked up our office furniture and boxes (from the closets we impressively cleaned out) and took them to our storage unit. They got the changing table moved out of our dining room and up to the nursery! Yes, we have a nursery! It is so exciting! As soon as things look a little more decorated, I'll post some pics. Dust & Tricia let us borrow their gliding rocking chair - which is fantastic! I love it! I promise we'll take good care of it while we are using it. I keep sitting in it trying to picture what it will be like when I am trying to calm Will down! I can only imagine.
Last weekend Dust & Tricia got to go to San Franciso and we had the privilege of doing some Dylan sitting! We had so much fun with him. It was a little challenging in that he was in the middle of potty training, but he did such a good job. We had a funny accident, but it was a good learning experience for the Tooker's. I am so excited that Dylan is so close because we definitely want to spend more time with him!
Here is a pic of us on the way to the park. He was in such a good mood the whole time we had him! This face is so cute!
Getting some help from Took with his shoes:

Ok - this was so funny! Dylan is slightly (ok obsessively) attached to his racecars Lighting McQueen and Mater. He kept playing with them in the kitchen and twice they rolled up under the stove. Here is Dylan's attempt at getting them out. He used his tools to try and rescue them:

Adorable! He was precious! Uncle Took saved the day and pulled the stove out for us.
All in all everything else is going really well. I am perpetually hot but I guess that comes with being pregnant in the summer in Texas. Sept. seems so far away! I am getting rather large so I'll post some pics soon. Will is definitely growing and definitely very active. I can't believe I am in my third trimester! Wow!

Weekend and Such...

So, we had an excellent weekend at the Tooker household. It was the first weekend we had been home in awhile. On Friday night we got to hang out with our good friends, Brian and Lori. We met them for dinner at Benihana in Las Colinas. Yummy food and even better company! It had been WAY too long since we had spent time with them. We didn't get to see their precious daughter Meredith, so hopefully we'll visit again very soon and see the whole family.
Then, on Saturday, I got up and got a much needed pedicure. It was a desperate situation. Then, my good friends Lindy & Melissa came over around lunchtime. I worked with them at my last firm and they have become good friends. We went to lunch at this interesting place over in Mockingbird Plaza, went shopping at Northpark and then saw a sneak peak of The Proposal. We had so much fun! The movie was excellent and I highly recommend it. It was probably the best romantic comedy I had seen in a really long time. Again, I hadn't seen Lindy forever so it was so nice to catch-up face to face! We must do another girls day soon!
So what was exciting was that while we were out doing girls stuff Kevin and his dad put together our crib! Ta Da....

I love this crib so much! My amazing family (Mom, Justin, Dustin & Tricia) got us the crib as a gift. We are so thankful for their love and generosity. Our baby is going to have such a wonderful place to sleep! I had to put the bedding we got on it right away (of course) and just love it! The crib tone, the bedding colors, and the wall colors coordinate perfectly! I just can't wait to get the rest of the office furniture out so we can move in the other baby furniture. So exciting!!! Kevin and his dad also put the stroller/carseat together that Kevin's dad got us. So we have a bed and a carseat/stroller for the baby! Whoo hoo! Things are moving right along and we'll be ready for the baby soon! 3 months to go...wow!

Kevin & George W.

So, for those who may not know, George W. Bush has been officing (temporarily) in the same building that Kevin works in. They had heard that he was making a point to stop by each suite and introduce himself. There was rumor that it would happen yesterday, so Kevin dressed up and it did! Mr. Bush even brought his professional photographer to take pictures with each person in the office. Kevin said he came into his office and chit chatted about all of the sports stuff Kevin has on his shelves. Kevin said he was very personable and was surprised that he was a smaller guy. What a cool day at the office!

24 almost 25 weeks

So - wow...I'm pregnant! It always surprises me to see how big I'm getting! And this time - it isn't just the belly! Look at my cheeks! I'm going to have some work to do in the fall to get this baby weight off! I am starting to see what everyone means when they mention the fact that I'm going to have a long, hot summer. My hands have started swelling and I can't really (comfortably) wear my wedding rings. During the day my shoes get really tight at work. I hear I need to get up and walk frequently, so I've been trying to do that. It seems so early for all of this, but it has been pretty warm. Gotta love Texas summers!
In all seriousness - seeing myself get bigger just makes me realize I am that much closer to meeting our son. I can't really fathom what that is going to be like. I am so ready to meet him! We've started getting furniture for the nursery - which is so exciting! We've bought the bedding (sports theme, of course) and I am so ready to get it all set-up! We're struggling with naming the little one. We have a few names we like, but picking one for sure is a lot of pressure. We have time, thank goodness!
