School Days

Will had his first set of school pics last week! I thought they turned out pretty cute! His hair is a little rough, but I was really surprised at how well the little school pic turned out. They've come a long way from the basic blue background. I was more shocked that he sat there and sort of smiled. Big boy!

Spring Fever!

We have had amazing weather this weekend! We’ve spent a lot of time outdoors and Will is one happy boy! Warning – lots of pics to follow!

This kid is obsessed with all things boy – especially sports balls of any kind! Will got this set for his birthday and he wasn’t quite ready for it. He loves it now. The bat is a little heavy, but that doesn’t stop him from trying!Daddy will have this kid ready for t-ball way in advance. Oh and Will loves wearing his hat. Cracks me up that he keeps it on. He looks way cute in it. One ball just isn’t enough! Daddy is a good teacher! Whoa – swinging high! He is not scared one bit, either! Love, love love this one! A good pic of his adorable shirt – compliments of G.J. & Neille! We always stop whatever we are doing when we hear an airplane coming through the sky! We were out again today for quite awhile. He loves his golf clubs that Aunt Kayse got him. Mommy wants to hide them at times, but Will can’t get enough! We should all stop and smell some flowers. Really – it made Will’s day! Seriously? Too stinkin’ cute and not even trying. Just chillin’ in my chair on a beautiful spring-like day. Had to capture how cute he looked in his flip flops and hat when we headed over to Dust & Tricia’s. I’m Irish!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Happy 18 months today to Will! How in the world did that happen?!? Poor guy (and poor parents) was up last night with the croup. He sounds sooo much better today and is getting a lot of rest. We kept him home today just to be sure. He sure looks cute today, too! Love you punkin'!

Back yard fun!

Since it is almost spring time we thought it was time to get Will some sort of play toy for the back yard. It arrived on Friday and G.J. was gracious enough to come help Kevin put it together on Saturday.

Will was so cute out there with them. He really thought he was helping and was right in the middle of everything.

They let him have a screwdriver without the screw part and he thought he was a big boy! Here he’s making sure it was put together properly. Just making a few adjustments.

I guess I didn’t take a pic of the completed project, but he is not afraid at all of climbing all over this thing. Apparently it is much more fun to climb up the slide! I have a feeling we’ll be upgrading to a much bigger swing set next summer!

He was in heaven on Saturday. He spent all morning outside with daddy and G.J. He had some lunch and took a pretty serious nap. Then my mom watched him that afternoon/evening while we did some shopping and she spent another 2 hours with him outside. She said he was so dirty by the time they went in for a bath. He was so tired he actually asked my mom to put him to bed. That’s my child, for sure!

Party Time

The weekend before last (I’m way behind) we celebrated Tricia’s birthday! Dust smoked up a yummy brisket and we had a nice little party.

Will sat at the kids table for the first time! Big milestone! (Not that he ate a thing, but that’s another story). Sweet baby Grayson was there and I held him for just a minute before Will melted down. He didn’t like seeing me hold another baby. We’re trying to show him that the baby isn’t so bad!

O’s & Kisses

Will loves to eat cheerio’s and he loves to feed them to us. It is sure sweet of him to share!I am still constantly trying to get kisses out of this kid! Occasionally, I’ll score a wet, sloppy kiss. But usually I have to steal them. He is working hard on trying to properly use his utensils. It is a work in progress. We still make the most massive mess. Just hangin’ around…He enjoys sitting in the booster every now and then. He doesn’t really eat there, more just for snacking. Sweetest face ever!!
