Technology hates me

For the record, I was planning to do some serious posting on Saturday.  I had some down time while Kendall was napping (she napped awhile since she woke up at 4am - thanks dear).  I tried uploading pics from my phone and camera and the stinking external drive is full.  Like it is seriously full.  I had Kevin confirm and yes, it is full.  I guess 4 years of taking pics of the kiddos will fill up a hard drive.  In the process of determining this I was trying to save my phone pics elsewhere and I don't know what happened - but it wiped my phone.  Seriously?!?  After giving up (and managing to not throw my phone, shockingly) I decided to walk away slowly.  Kevin knows that technology and I don't get along.  I don't know why I am so inept in this area.  Maybe when I find the time to get a new drive I'll upload the pics and hopefully score another free afternoon.  I tried.  I really did.

Miles and a fun ride

So we went out to eat recently to celebrate Miles' 3rd birthday. First - how in the world has it been 3 years?? After dinner the kiddos asked for some quarters for the kid rides out front. They proceeded to have the time of their lives! I mean really. This was a well spent quarter! Kendall squealed and screamed. It was hilarious. Man I love these kids! Love spending time with my nephews! And check out Dylan's missing teeth. He pulled one at dinner. Ew.

July 4th

And she lives! I would love to go back and catch up on my blogging - who knows if that will happen.  We had a great weekend celebrating the 4th!  I got a few pics to share.  We went to the awesome Lake Highlands parade again.  We have gone each year and have the best time.  It is always hot, of course, but the kids get a kick out of it.  Kendall really thought it was fantastic.  We parked at one of our friend's house and walked over with 3 other families.  It ended up being fun.

These kids are so cute!  These are some school friends.
 The dads
 The moms
 Cute kids!
Luckily Kendall hitched a ride - she wanted to be carried, of course.
Miles and Dustin met up with us, as well!

We went swimming with the above crew after the parade and then we napped.  Then we went out to some of the Tooker's friends for a little barbecue.  We then spent the night at Allyson's and had a great time swimming on Sat at her new awesome pool!  Love a good weekend with family and friends!

Happy Birthday Kevin!

We were also in Tallahassee for Kevin's birthday.  That's where he was born - so it was kind of cool to be back there.  Mimie of course made his favorite dessert - brownies and ice cream (or as they call it - brownie delight).  The kids wore FSU shirts in honor of daddy.  These kiddos sure love their daddy!
They also love dessert!  Ha!  Hope you had a great birthday Kevin!  We love you and are so thankful for you!
Got a good pic of Kevin with Papa.  Somehow I didn't manage to get one with Mimie.

Easter in Tallahassee

This year we were in Tallahassee with Kevin's grandparents on Easter.  We started our vacation by heading there to spend a couple of days.  It ended up being pretty chilly there!  These aren't the best pics, but I was so glad to get a few.
We so enjoyed spending some time with Mimie and Papa.  They were wonderful hosts and I know it meant a lot to Kevin to be there.
 These two.  Love them.
Man my eyes are looking older.  And the puffy under eye thing - argh.  I blame this little mess.  :)  (Not the fact that ahem I am in my late thirties).
A great pic of Will and daddy!!

School Egg Hunt

Since Easter was after April 15th this year, I got to go hang out at the kid's Easter Egg hunts at school.  It was so fun!  It occurred to me the morning of that we really had not done any practicing or discussing what was going to happen with Kendall.  I remember us doing practice runs at home before Will's first hunt.  Oh the poor 2nd child.  However, Kendall didn't hesitate one bit.  That girl burst out of the room and started shoving eggs in her bucket like she knew exactly what to do!  It was hilarious and really not at all surprising.  The girl is spunky and can handle her own.
Efficiency.  Two eggs at once.  I like it.
I only saw one other kiddo with more eggs than Miss K.  I ended up helping out some of the other kids as she was just fine on her own!
Will's hunt was outside and he was thrilled that I was there.  That made my day.  He's so cute and thoughtful.
He did great.  No unnecessary meltdown - he just had a great time!
He also got the most eggs out of his class.  They counted.  He got 44.  :)  The Tooker kids know how to hunt!
So the Spiderman outfit and bucket (and blue socks) weren't really my pick, but 4.5 years into this parenting thing and I am learning to pick my battles.  He can have this one!

Still here

So I have totally fallen off the blogging wagon. Boo. No good reason. Just busy and have not done it. Decided to dump some phone pics. Things are good here. After a rough fall things have greatly improved. I feel good and we are all doing great. Kendall keeps up going and busy. She is still spunky as ever. Love her to pieces but she wears us out.

She loves to carry her purse. I find this incredibly adorable! Also the hair is a bit crazy these days. Kind of in the awkward growing out stage.
Sweet one snuggled in daddy's arms. Bliss.
Kids have a wonderful daddy that loves to read to them.
This girl is a hoot. She was impressed with her trick.
Several of Will's friends have siblings in Kendall's class. It is fun when we all hang out. And I am obsessed with her pig tails. Love them!! If I don't put it up her hair is crazy out of control.
This cutie is doing great at swim. We picked it back up and he moved up to the next level. He looks nervous but he was so proud and got to ring the bell.
Again...pig tails!!
Took my handsome fella on a date recently. Had the best time and got to build a bear. Love spoiling him! He is just so sweet.

Sweet kiddos on Valentine's. Will is so good with her.
Got to go see his school program and go to his class.
I can picture her in college. Having a snack while working on her computer. :)

Happy New Years!

Well, I didn't get Christmas cards made this year. I wasn't feeling well (will do a separate post on that) and it just never happened. We got a couple of good pics over Christmas, so we'll pretend these are our Happy New Year cards. Love, love, love this pic of the kids! They really are so great with each other. Blessed to have these two!
One of all 4 of us that turned out pretty good.
