Teeth, teeth...where are you?

This poor girl needs to get those teeth cut and quick!  She has not been happy in over a week and that is really just not like her.  She is driving her parents crazy!  We know she must be miserable and I wish there was something I could do to speed the process along.  She sure is a cute little crazy girl. But momma needs a break!

We do love her new Toms!  She's so cool, now!  Thanks Dylan and Tricia!
Big girl pj's?  Too big.  Too big.
This dress is crazy cute.  I need a better pic and with her matching shoes.
I feel you sister...

Bathing beauty

I am so obsessed with Kendall's swimsuit! Have I mentioned dressing a girl is so fun? She loves the water. It has been fun taking her to the pool. Here are pics of her and her with Aunt Tricia & Aunt Kellie!

Looking at Kendall's cake pic reminded me of Will's.  What can I say - my kids dig sugar!

Kendall's 1st Birthday Party!

Yesterday we had Kendall's first birthday party! It was so much fun!  I don't know what got into me, but I just got a little creative and wanted to really make it extra cute and special.  I'm not usually so crafty, but having a girl just brings something out of me.  I was up pretty late the night before trying to get everything perfect and at some point had to just go to bed.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  Thanks to pinterest for helping me find the inspiration for this pink/blue/yellow themed party!

The table all set-up.  I had recently been to a neighbor's birthday that was donut themed. I immediately thought that would be perfect for her first birthday.  We had a morning party so everyone could have the rest of the day free.  I even made the little yellow stands myself.  Who am I?!?
My amazingly sweet and talented friend, Paula, offered to make her cake.  I had seen something similar on pinterest and she duplicated it.  I though it was perfect!
Here are a few pics of the decorations around the house.

I might have gone a little over board with the drinks/food.  If anyone left hungry or thirsty, I don't know why.  I just thought people would feast and drink insane amounts, I guess?  We had juice/lemonade/tea/chocolate milk/and coffee!

Kendall in her cute outfit my mom made.  Wasn't she just adorable?

Two awesome neighbors let us borrow their bounce houses.  It was a great way to entertain the older kids. It ended up being a fun party for Will as half the kids were really his friends.  Oh and note the awesome paint job on the patio furniture below.  It was a rusty mess and with 13 cans of paint later - wala!  A revived furniture set!
Kendall got in for a few minutes and really enjoyed it!
Say cheese!  As usual, I didn't get a pic of all our guests.  I have to get better at that.  Here is Kendall with her buddy, Tucker.

Party favors!
Mommy and Daddy with the Birthday girl!
Kendall with her cake.  She loved it, of course.  It was so much fun because she was such a ham!  She loves attention and had a blast with everything.  It made the party so fun!  She really eats it up.  Attention, that is - see below, she also eats up cake!

She kept patting the top of it.

Yep - she loved the cake!
After a lot of the friends left, we opened her presents.  She wasn't too interested in that part, but hung around for a bit.  She got some awesome new shoes!
Will was nowhere to be found, but I did have a few helpers...Miles loved her new dress!
Look in the background of this one - Bryce was so sweet.  He helped me open a lot of the gifts and he was showing Kendall her new outfit!  It was hilarious and so, so sweet.
Oh look, Will was there!
What a wonderful time celebrating this precious girl.  We are so thankful to our friends and family that helped us celebrate.  We are so thankful that so many people share in loving our girl.  We love you so much Kendall and hope you look back one day and see how many people care about you!

Cousin Sleepover!

My brother and Tricia went out of town recently so we watched the boys for a bit while they were gone.  They had a blast together.  It was loud.  Very loud!  I realize I am not meant to have 4 children.  2 is good! I look forward to many more sleepovers as they get older!  So glad they live close and this can happen!

Dylan and Kendall are buddies.  Dylan is so sweet with her!

Kendall thought she was one of the big kids!

July 4th

We had a lot of fun on July 4th this year!  Last year I was 39 weeks pregnant - not quite as fun.  We went to the parade - which is always fun.  The weather was amazing.  Seriously amazing.  Not hot and so enjoyable. The parade is so small town and I love it.  G.J. met us there!

Will's friend Bo was there and the boys watched the parade together.

That evening we were invited to a party at some of Kevin's family friends house.  A photo booth is all the rage these days and we captured a few pics.  Kendall with her Aunt Kayse!
An attempt at the whole group
Will loved this photo taking (really??) and asked to take one with me.  Melt my heart.
Had to get one with his awesome aunts!
He also asked Kellie to take one with him!
