Since Easter was after April 15th this year, I got to go hang out at the kid's Easter Egg hunts at school. It was so fun! It occurred to me the morning of that we really had not done any practicing or discussing what was going to happen with Kendall. I remember us doing practice runs at home before Will's first hunt. Oh the poor 2nd child. However, Kendall didn't hesitate one bit. That girl burst out of the room and started shoving eggs in her bucket like she knew exactly what to do! It was hilarious and really not at all surprising. The girl is spunky and can handle her own.
Efficiency. Two eggs at once. I like it.
I only saw one other kiddo with more eggs than Miss K. I ended up helping out some of the other kids as she was just fine on her own!
Will's hunt was outside and he was thrilled that I was there. That made my day. He's so cute and thoughtful.
He did great. No unnecessary meltdown - he just had a great time!
He also got the most eggs out of his class. They counted. He got 44. :) The Tooker kids know how to hunt!
So the Spiderman outfit and bucket (and blue socks) weren't really my pick, but 4.5 years into this parenting thing and I am learning to pick my battles. He can have this one!
