1 year Stats

We had her check-up today. She's right on track. She can drink milk and give up the bottles. Whoo hoo! I got this pic of her and it is so cute. She was talking to herself and giving herself kisses. It was really sweet. Have I mentioned how much I love this girl?

Weight: 18 lbs (8%)

Height: 29.5 in (60%)

Will weighed 18.7 at his 1 year. He was built the same way but had chubbier cheeks!

Happy 1st Birthday Kendall Elizabeth!

I can't believe it!  Our beautiful baby girl is 1 today!  My heart is exploding with love for this amazing little girl.  She is so full of life!  She is sweet and very spunky!  She is determined and strong.  I am proud of those qualities!  I love her spunk!  I will say she is walking at this point.  She stands up on her own in the middle of the room and seems to prefer it.  She walks a good ways and will get up and try again!  She has 4 teeth - all on the bottom!  Not sure where those top ones are!  She seems to only be able to say "no" and "dada."  I am trying not to take it personally that mama hasn't come out, yet!  She loves her bubba and her dada!  She loves her mommy, too but seems to give daddy the best snuggles.  I think she is definitely going to be a daddy's girl.  No one makes her smile/laugh like her brother.  It is the sweetest thing.  She is very quirky about food.  This girl would survive on yogurt melts if I would let her!  Today, I am letting her have lots.  I can't get her to eat any real food other than bread (and yogurt melts/mum mums).  She still loves her oatmeal and baby food.  Hoping we can get something else in her, soon! She is doing pretty well with her sippy cup.  I am guessing the bottles will be gone soon.  Can't say I am sad to see those go.  We are just so happy to have her in our family.  She completes it.  I can't image it without her.  She is so fun and so special and we look forward to that little personality developing more and more!

Flashback to Jr. High!

My awesome husband scored me the suite for the New Kids on the Block/98 Degrees/Boyz II Men concert a few weeks back.  It was F.U.N.  I mean seriously fun.  I haven't been so silly and danced around like that in years.  Luckily I took a fun group of ladies that embraced the experience along with me.  It was so a flashback to the old days.

My Little Bambino

So Tball is over (thankfully).  It was an experience.  If you ever consider playing 3 year old tball - don't do it!  Ha.  It was fun, I guess but those kids are way too young for tball.  There is too much time to stand around/sit around and they don't have attention spans for that.  They were really cute in their uniforms and the adorable pic Will took below, might have made it all worth it.  He was pretty proud of his Ranger wrist bands and took a great pic!  Yay!  Until next year (maybe the year after)...

Worth it.

Need to do some updating but will post 2 fave pics of the kiddos recently. My heart is full. Even on the really, really, really hard days.

First steps!

This sweet girl started taking steps this weekend! She only takes 2 or 3 but her balance is really improving and she is standing a lot more the last few days. She could be walking by her birthday! Am I ready for this?

Little Moments

So this happened to be one of those sweet little moments that I need to remember.  Will wanted to look through our wedding album.  :)  It was really precious and he asked a lot of questions.  He asked where he was a few times and settled on him still being in my tummy.  Clearly (for the record) he wasn't.  This kid honestly has the sweetest heart of anyone I know.  He can make me crazy mad at times, but he generally has a very loving and sweet disposition.  Man I love him like crazy.
