Flyin’ High

We recently took a trip to South Carolina to visit my great aunt and uncle. We hadn’t seen them since my wedding and they invited us to come…so we went! We were nervous about our first flight with Will. All things considered, he did really well. We learned a few things and the trip back was easier than the trip there.

Aunt Juli took us on a sailboat ride on Friday. Will loved this. He loves boats – and it was a great (hot) way to spend an afternoon. He even did some driving at one point.

Here are some pictures of our lovely hosts. They live in a neat retirement community. Their social life is awesome!

On Saturday, we took Will to this neat Children’s Museum that was perfect for Will. He could run and explore and not mess anything up! Of course he zeroed in on this truck and wanted to play with nothing else.

On Sunday we took him to the beach. We didn’t stay long because we had to get back. I wish we had planned to go for the day because Will loved it! I was shocked. You never know with him. He ran up to the waves and back to the beach. He kept saying….come here wave. So cute. He couldn’t get enough. I have some priceless video of him running in and out of the water. I know I’m posting way too many pics, but there were so many cute ones!
