On Sunday, we celebrated Mother’s Day with Kevin’s family out at a park in Rockwall. It was really nice and lovely and we didn’t have to fight crowds at a restaurant! Celebrating mother’s day is special for so many reasons. It is great to stop and celebrate our own mothers/grandmothers. We have truly been blessed in that area. It is also nice to stop and really think about what a blessing it is to be able to be a mother myself. I know it is not a given and it is a true blessing. I am so thankful to be a mommy to Will and can’t wait to be one to Kendall.
Will ended up with quite a doozy of an “owie” on his head. He was running like he always does and ended up head first on some concrete. Ouch. Luckily these ducks were close by and a good distraction from the fall! He really enjoyed feeding these little guys.
On Monday night, Will and I took my mom to dinner (but no pics). We are so thankful for our amazing moms!! Thanks for loving us and our little boy. We appreciate all you do for us and the time we spend with you. We hope you feel loved and appreciated!
