Tallahassee Visit

After we had Kevin’s birthday lunch, we took off on vacation!! It was perfect timing as after busy season – we needed a recharge! My great aunt and uncle invited us to spend some time down in Gulf Shores at their beach condo. We took them up on the offer and decided to go a little further and visit Kevin’s grandparents in Tallahassee. We made it a good ways Sat and finished off the trip on Sunday. We had the best time visiting with them. It was their first time to meet Miss Kendall in person. Will loved spending time with Mimie & Papa. Will helped Mimie make some pizzas for dinner.

Sunday was Kevin’s actual 30th birthday. It was so special because he was born in Tallahassee! So he came back on his birthday 30 years later! I think Mimie & Papa were thrilled to be able to celebrate with him. Papa is known for his brownie delight dessert, so Mimie made some brownies and we had brownies and ice cream to celebrate.

Another treat was visiting with Kevin’s great-grandmother, who is 104!! She got to meet the kids for the first time.

Will was pretty shy with her but warmed up a bit at least enough to hold her hand for a picture.

Next stop was FSU stadium! Will enjoyed getting to see it as Kevin is quite a fan of the university (to say the least). Beach Vacation 2013-04-20 053

Happy Birthday Kevin!

Kevin recently had a milestone birthday! He turned the big 3-0!! He really didn’t want to celebrate at all. We talked him into/forced him into celebrating. :) We had a family lunch on Saturday. We grilled out and had some cake and ice cream, of course. Ask Will – it isn’t a party without cake!

Friday night we got to go out sans kiddos. We love them dearly, but it is fun to get to go out for a fun night every now and then. Think they were thirsty??

We went to a fun little pub/bowling alley place. I know Kevin didn’t want to do anything special, but I though it would be fun to go do something different.

We were able to get almost all the siblings to go. We missed you J and LIndsey! Dustin and Tricia got their bowl on with us!

9 month stats

I never posted her stats. At 9 months, here are her stats:

She is a healthy little girl and busy, busy! Keeping her entertained at the doctor was oh so fun! :)

Mavs Game

I recently scored some Mavs tickets to the last game of the year. We were able to take Will with us. It was a lot of fun. The seats were great and Will loved it. He wanted to make sure he knew were Dirk and the horsie (mascot) were at all times!

He talked us into a foam finger. :) Oh, why not??

Easter Sunday

We went to church on Easter Sunday with my mom and Kevin’s family. It was extra fun this year to get to buy an Easter dress for Miss Kendall! There are just too many cute dresses out there! I even got Will to wear this cute jacket. I was hoping to get some studio pics of the 2 of them but someone (Will) wouldn’t cooperate. At least he cooperated before church!

This pic makes my heart happy. I know how blessed I am to have these two cuties in my life.

After church, we kept it easy and went out to eat at Gloria’s. Yum. Ally with the grandkids.

He is risen indeed! It is a great time to think about the sacrifice made for each one of us. I know I could sacrifice myself for my kids, but my kids for a fallen world? Wow.

After lunch, Jeff and Daneille had everyone over for an egg hunt. Kendall and I had to stay home and miss out. That sweet girl needed herself a nap. Kevin did a good job of getting some pics for us. Kayse helping Will find some eggs.
