Sip and See

This past Sunday, my good friend Paula and my sister-in-law Tricia hosted a Sip and See for Kendall! It was an absolute blast.  It is so much more fun than a regular shower.  Showing off Kendall was way more fun that sitting and opening presents – so embarrassing.  They both put a lot of time and energy into the party and it looked amazing and the food was so fun. Paula actually made this cake herself – can you believe it?  Very impressive!

I love these centerpieces, too.  These might show up again at Kendall’s first birthday.  Shhh – don’t tell!

Happy Birthday to me!

I had to write this down to remember it.  Yesterday was my birthday.  Last night Kevin gave Kendall her bedtime bottle and was headed to put her to bed.  I was giving her kisses and I said…Kendall sleep all night.  It can be your birthday present to mommy.  And guess what…she slept until 6:15!  Ha!  She really did it for me!  She had been waking between 3:30 – 4:30.  I have to say, I am very grateful!  Thank you for the sweet gift Kendall Elizabeth!

1st Day of School – 3’s Class

Well, another school year has started today! Will is now in the 3 year old class.  His teacher is Ms. Connor.  They only have one teacher now – it is like a real class!  Kind of sad.  We went and met his teacher last Thursday and it was a little sad to see the big boy class.  There was a very small play area.  The room was much smaller, period.  One teacher, two tables of kids.  I know it is a good thing (and cheaper tuition, which is a bonus) but it is just weird to see him all big boyish.  Kevin took him to school this morning and he was very excited.  He didn’t cry and walked right in and put his backpack in his cubby.  He knew right where his name was.  I got a few pics this morning with him showing off his new backpack that Mimi took him to get.  Thank you Mimi! He was very proud of his buzz backpack! I am not surprised by this pick as it is very blue. Everything he picks has to be blue these days. Here’s hoping this is a great year!

Random Cuteness

Here is a random dump of cute pics I have taken recently.  There are a bunch, but they are all blog worthy, I think! I have the best time dressing her up in her cute clothes.  She is now in her 0-3 clothes.  They’re a little big, but she looks cute even so.  Fun socks, fun hat, cute dress.  All set!

Sometimes getting him to brush his teeth can be a challenge.  We watched a youtube video called Teach me How to Brushy.  It is a rap song and he was very amused.  It has helped him get to brushing recently.  I’ll take it!

I look at this picture below and think Wow.  I am truly incredibly blessed! (And Will finally got a hair cut!  He was looking shaggy).

Sweet napping.  I don’t know if you can tell, but her cheeks are looking SO much better, finally.  Poor girl’s cheeks were rough.  It isn’t 100% clear, but probably about 85%.  They are on the mend!

Spoiled much?

Will’s school was closed this week.  Monday starts the new school year, so this past week was teacher in-service.  To give mommy a break, G.J. & Kayse took will to the Science Museum on Monday.  He got to see the imax movie about whales.  To hear him make the whale sound is absurdly cute.  He had an absolute blast! He, of course, came home with a few fun items that G.J. and Kayse purchased.  Spoiled?  Hmmm. On Wednesday, Ally took him, Kayse, Kellie, and Jack to Legoland!  He had a blast there, too!  He loves his little lego motorcycle he came home with.  While I kid, I am very thankful he has amazing grandparents that spoil him.  Every kid deserves some spoiling, right?
